How To Make Parfait Glass Desserts
Three different style of dessert cups a fluted champagne glass, a round diagonally cut dessert cup and a hexagonal or slanted cube dessert cup.
An assortment of fillings and toppings will be used.
The Fluted Glass – “Strawberry Cherry Custard Parfait”
In a champagne flute glass. start with a bottom layer of custard cream. Add a layer of strawberry filling (purchased). Stabilized whipped cream rosette is next. A layer of cherry filling (purchased – I had some left over from a different dessert.) Finish off with another layer of stabilized whipped cream. Garnish with ground pistachios.
The Round Diagonally Cut Dessert Cup – “Nutella Walnut Dream”
Using a round diagonally cut dessert cup, start off with a Stabilized whipped cream which has some nutella and finely ground walnuts added. Next a layer of stabilized whipped cream. Randomly drizzle melted chocolate over the top. Garnish with toasted coconut.
The hexagonal dessert cup – “Tropical Heaven”
I used a hexagonal dessert cup but they are hard to find, try a slanted cube mini dish. Start out with a layer of Quick Bavarian Cream, followed by some pineapple preserves (or pineapple sundae topping), Level the top with some lemon gelatin. Bring it home with a sprinkling of sweetened coconut flakes.
