How to Make Chocolate Dessert Cups
Equipment
- Silicone cupcake liners
- Silicone brush
- Melted chocolate of your choice (white, milk chocolate. dark, regular, etc) If using real chocolate (couverture) it should be in temper.
Making Chocolate Desserts Cups
Paint the inside of a silicone cupcake liner with a light coating of melted chocolate. Place in the freezer for 2 minutes to allow the chocolate to set.
- Coat the inside of a silicone cupcake liner with melted chocolate.
- Coat all areas.
- All coated. Place in freezer for 2 minutes to set chocolate.
Remove from the freezer and brush a second coat of chocolate on top of the chocolate. Freeze for 5 minutes to allow the chocolate to set up.
- Coat a second time to thicken the shell.
- Coated the second time. Refrigerated 10 minutes or so to set (or freeze for 5 minutes)
Remove the cup from the freezer. Carefully, peel back the silicone mold to remove from the chocolate. Place on serving platter and fill.
- Out of freezer, time to serve with ice cream.
- Peal silicone away being very careful not to crack the shell.
- Place on serving plate.
Ice cream any one?
- Fill with a scoop of ice cream.
