Welcome to a Behind the Scenes look of the Desserts101 YouTube Studio.

There is a large amount of off camera preparation going into putting a video together. I hope this gives you a better sense of what I have to do.

Special Equipment

Soft Box Light

This is used to light up the room. Think of it as bright studio lighting for the home.

Soft box light used to provide extra light so you can see me on the videos.

This Back light is used to light up the background.

I wish I could take a picture of my camera set-up, but it is hard with only one camera. In the future.

Cracking the eggs

Cracking eggs to prepare for a video.

Cutting Parchment circles to like a cake pan.

Cutting a parchment paper circle to prepare a pan.

Greasing the cake pan, inserting the liner and greasing the liner.

Greasing a cake pan. A piece of parchment paper is added and greased on top to ensure the release of the cake.

Measuring out all the other ingredients

Yep someone has to do it. And that someone is me.
